Now in truth till my friend BJ recently told me he was a favourite of hers, I'd always associated country artist George Straits with Nellie in Prairieland & the near fatal accident we shared, driving back from Saskatoon to Dodge in March '07 - he was playing when the truck hit us!
But, if BJ rates him, I am prepared to give him another chance.

Oh wow! Thanks! This is one of my all time favorite George songs. The words are so true when it comes to my Bob. He was not planned, he came out of the Blue Clear Sky! But this song also brings back warm fuzzy memories of when it was first released and being played on the radio. I was on my way to work a claim in the Austin Texas area when I heard this song on the radio for the first time. I had been living in Raleigh NC for the past 3 plus years and this was my first week back in Texas. The sky was blue, and I could see for miles. George is a good ol' downhome kind of Texas boy and I do enjoy him. Thank you!
