Asta, the WFT Film Star!

There have been lots of famous Fox Terriers, both real and fictional.
And, my WFT friend Jackson lists his favourites as:-
Beauty, one of the few dogs to win the Dickin Medal [the animals' VC] during World War II,
Milou [Snowy] from Herge's "Tintin" books,
Monsieur Bob from Agatha Christie's "Dumb Witness",
Montmorency from "Three men in a boat" by Jerome K Jerome,
Caesar, King Edward VII's favourite dog.
And, Asta, [Jackson's hero] from the "Thin Man" films...

Wire-haired Fox Terrier actor Skippy was an A-list star in the 1930s.
Not only was he Asta in "The Thin Man" series with Myrna Loy and William Powell, he starred as George opposite Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant in "Bringing Up Baby".
And he also worked with Cary Grant again with Irene Dunne as Mr. Smith in "The Awful Truth"
NB - The music to this video needs to be lowered...
