Peter, Paul & Mary - Puff, the Magic Dragon!

I remember this little song from when young, my Mother & I use to sing along to it.
But I never really listened to the lyrics, or understood the significance of last verses which tell of when childhood innocence is gone, till much later - then, poor Puffs fate brought a sentimental tear to my eyes and still does when heard.
This recording is from 1966...

'The Runaway Train'!

This song takes me back to my early childhood in the late 1950's.
My Mother had a portable wind-up gramophone with horn, and a collection of 45's.
One record was 'The Runaway Train'.
We use to play it often!
Since we lived in a steam railway community, this video fits the bill perfectly.
